Irma Kort (1975) started her oboe studies at the Prins Claus Conservatoire in Groningen, with Frank Mulder. She finished her bachelor and master degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague with Bart Schneemann. During her master degree she studied with Omar Zoboli at the Musik-Akademie Basel. She is a member of the Netherlands Wind Ensemble and the Martin Fondse Orchestra. 

She was the principal oboe player of The Ballet Orchestra in Amsterdam and played English Horn in the BBC Symphony Orchestra in London. She finished her Master in Music Education in June 2021 as a teacher at The Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
